Buddy is 2 1/2 years old and weighs 70 pounds, so he is a big boy! His owners could no longer keep him, so they turned him into a shelter. Fortunately for Buddy, the shelter contacted rescue, so he is safe with us and looking for a new home. He is a very nice dog; however, he is young, big and strong, so needs an owner who will be able to handle him. He does tend to pull on leash when he is excited, so as big as he is, he really needs some obedience training so that he knows not do that! Other than that, he is a great dog.

Breeze is 9 years old and weighs 45 pounds. Breeze was in horrible shape when we rescued her from a shelter. She was very thin, extremely dirty and very scared and depressed. We were not even sure we were going to be able to save her. However, after some good care and much love, Breeze has made a full recovery. She is great shape physically and loves to run and play. However, mentally, someone must not have been very nice to her. She is a bit timid when she first meets you, but once she gets to know you, she is extremely loving. She also loves to go for car rides and is a very good girl in the car. If you have lots of love to give, please give Breeze a chance to know that there are good people out there who will love her the rest of her life and not hurt her ever again.

Sadie is 11 years old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. She is really a beautfiul dog and very happy, although you can't really tell from her pics. She was much too busy to pose for pics, so her foster home had to get what they could and they pics do not truly show her happy personality. Sadie was a real mess when we rescued her from the shelter, she was thin and was clearly not feeling well. In addtion to a respiratory infection, our vet found something shaped like a star in her stomach. Surgery was risky as she was also sick, but it had to be done and we did not know if she would even survive the surgery. Sadie is a fighter and the surgery to remove what ended up being a metal child's hair barrette was successful. After some time to heal and recover from the infection and surgery, Sadie is feeling great and is ready to go to her new home. Don't let her age fool you, Sadie loves to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home and does not act her age at all! She is a very sweet dog who needs a new famly to love her. That family will in turn gain a wonderful new family member.
